Where is the Putnam County E-911 Center located?

The Putnam County E-911 Center is located near the Putnam County Courthouse. The physical address of the E-911 Center is 100 Emergency Lane, Winfield, WV 25213.

 

 

What type of equipment and technology is used in the Putnam County E-911 Center?

 

Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System – Caliber InterAct

Radio Equipment – Motorola MCC5500

Phone System – Airbus Cassidian

The Putnam County E-911 Center also can receive text-to-911. Text-to-911 can be a useful tool for emergencies that a person is in a position that they cannot talk. However, anytime a person can speak, voice 911 calls are recommended
